Function at your best in all aspects of life, including your relationships
Hello!
I'm Dr. Amy Arnold
I’ve struggled with stress for most of my life, and it’s adversely affected my health and my relationships. At times it decreased my ability to perform at work. Perhaps worst of all, chronic stress at one point led to a diagnosis of anxiety disorder and adrenal fatigue.

We all experience stressful life events – some we choose, and others just happen. In my case stress in midlife came from running a business with multiple employees, a challenging marriage, and a series of family deaths. And it didn’t help that I have a basic personality tendency to worry excessively along with habits of negative thinking.

As a physician, I understand the physiology of stress on our bodies. For the past ten years I’ve explored different theories and the latest research on how stress affects our minds and I’ve learned many simple, effective ways to manage my own stress. I’m able to recognize it quickly, use various techniques to mediate my response to it, and function with calm and clarity during all but the biggest stressors. (And with the big ones, I can now recover quite rapidly and avoid getting sucked into severe anxiety.) This makes my life far more enjoyable!
I've developed a streamlined, practical program to help you learn these methods and incorporate them into your life immediately ---

Common Questions and Concerns
“I can’t eliminate stress – I have so many responsibilities and serious problems.”
It’s true. You can’t eliminate all stress. What you’ll learn in this Retreat is how to respond to inevitable stress in healthier, more resilient ways. You’ll also learn strategies to reduce your own daily stressors.
“My life is so hectic I don’t have time to work on stress reduction”
A hectic, busy life is contributing significantly to your stress! If you don’t take the time to manage it better, it’s not likely to improve on its own. I designed this intensive retreat so you can focus on stress management in a quick, effective format and make changes right away.
“I’ve tried other stress reduction methods, and the benefits haven’t lasted.”
Learning concepts and skills is not enough to create lasting change; we also need to practice the skills and incorporate them into everyday life as habits . You’ll leave the retreat with a plan of action, including accountability support, and have 2 follow-up calls with me to help integrate all you’ve learned.
“Do you offer the retreat online?”
The Release and Reset Retreat is designed to maximize your ability to focus on yourself and everything you need to manage stress more effectively. This is facilitated by getting away from the demands and habits of your everyday life; therefore, the retreat is held in a relaxing setting away from home.
